August 2022 PS Plus Free Games Leak, Confirmed New Trial and Titles Depart

An August 2022 PS Plus free games leak may have appeared, there are two titles leaving PlayStation Extra and Premium next month, and a new day one trial has been confirmed.

Yesterday was a fantastic day for PlayStation subscribers. If you subscribe to Extra or Premium, you can play Wander no additional cost. And it’s a fantastic day one release that currently has an 84 on Metacritic for PS5.

Whereas Wander is arguably the best title added to PlayStation Plus in July, next month is right around the corner and fans are looking forward to more great experiences.

What are the free PS Plus games of August 2022?

Below is the August 2022 PS Plus free games leak:

• dinosaur crisis (PSOne)
• SoulCalibur’s Shattered Fate (PSP)
• ridge runner 2 (PSP)

This possible leak is courtesy of Sony themselves. As reported by nibel on Twitter, the three games listed above were found on the Italian PlayStation blog for the July 2022 Extra and Premium announcement.

They’ve since been removed from the blog post, so it’s possible they’ll be added next month. However, it is also plausible that they could arrive even beyond August.

If the above comes out next month, they will only be available to Premium subscribers as they are classics.

There are no possible leaks for Essential or Extra at the time of writing. However, the next Essential game bundle will be unveiled on July 27.

New PlayStation Day One Trial

New PS Plus Premium free games trial confirmed for August 2022 is rollerdrome.

This will be released on August 16. As this is a trial, it will only be available to Premium subscribers and therefore not playable for Essential or Extra members.

Similar to Forbidden Horizon West and The wonders of Tiny Tina, the trial should allow you to play the game at no additional cost for just two hours. Confirmation of this trial comes courtesy of YouTuber PlayStation Portal.

• NBA 2K22 – August 31
• FIA WRC 10 – August 31
