Disney wants at least two new Star Wars video games every year

Disney not only plans to release more Star Wars video games soon, but also wants to see up to two games based on the sci-fi franchise’s debut each year.

Despite the fact that there are already a number of Star Wars video games in development for various platforms, this goal does not seem so impossible to achieve.

Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, will be available on Windows PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. Star Wars: Hunters, a free-to-play multiplayer game, will be available on mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch. Both games are slated for release in 2023.

The other two announced video games are Knights of the Old Republic Remake and Star Wars: Eclipse, which aren’t expected for at least a few years due to their size and other development issues.

Luke Skywalker is due to battle in Fortnite next month, while online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic also continues to receive frequent updates. Fortnite would add new Star Wars material at least once a year. possibly visit Isle Royale.

Additionally, Respawn Entertainment, Skydance Media, and Ubisoft Massive are working on a number of unannounced Star Wars games that won’t be released for a few years. Additionally, there is ongoing speculation of a video game starring Mandalorians and a potential Star Wars Battlefront II spin-off starring Iden Versio (based on cast observations).
