Epic Games Store unveils free games for September 2022

The Epic Games Store is unveiling its first batch of free games for September 2022, including two full games and DLC for another.

The Epic Games Store offers users free content on a weekly basis, with some weeks being more generous than others. For a long time, the Epic Games Store only offered one free game per week, but the last two weeks have been particularly busy for the service, and it looks like it won’t stop in September 2022.

The Epic Games Store has announced the giveaways for the week of September 1 through September 8, and they include two new games as well as content for a free game. From September 1 to September 8, Epic Games Store users can claim the Armazillo DLC pack for Knockout Citywhich comes with a bunch of cosmetic options, Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Editionand Submerged: hidden depths.

As for free games from Epic Games Store, Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is certainly one of the most prestigious gifts the service has seen this year. Typically, Epic Games Store’s free games consist of smaller-scale games or indie titles, so it’s always nice when a big-budget, blockbuster release like Shadow of the Tomb Raider is added to the range. Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition comes with the base game and all post-launch DLC, so it’s especially important to be completely free.
