LPGA fans will soon have more options for online games

As the LPGA takes action to create a sensation in the sports betting world, IMG Arena has secured official sports betting data and live broadcast rights for the tour.

Beginning in early 2022, daily hole-to-hole stats and limited tour streaming will be made available to casinos and sportsbook through initial partners such as bet365, BoyleSports and Tipsport. The LPGA does not have a ShotLink type system, so fans will not be able to bet on specific moves in real time like they can on the PGA Tour.

This is a separate initiative from the previously announced KPMG Performance Insights, which includes hit won data that is currently sent to players weekly on an Excel file.

“We are delighted to partner with the LPGA and energize the Golf Event Center with another elite athletic competition,” said Max Wright, SVP Commercial, IMG Arena. “Bringing women’s golf to the Event Center has long been an ambition of IMG Arena. The LPGA Tour features some of the world’s most talented athletes and the highest quality weekly tournaments, which will offer operators and their players a wide range of data-driven sports betting content. “

IMG Arena works with over 470 leading sports betting brands around the world to provide live video and data feeds for over 45,000 sporting events per year, as well as on-demand virtual sports products including UFC Event Center. IMG Arena clients include ATP, UFC, European Tour, PGA Tour, EuroLeague, MLS and FA.
