Pico 4 Black Friday bundle includes 3 free games

Ahead of Black Friday this week, Pico announced a new bundle including After the Fall, Ruinsmagus and Les Mills Bodycombat for free with the purchase of a Pico 4 headset.

The offer starts November 24 and Pico says the bundle is valid for all Pico 4 headsets that are “purchased, delivered and activated between November 24 and November 30. So you’ll have about a week from Thursday to buy a Pico 4 and have it delivered on time if you want to activate it before the bundle deadline.

Pico 4 is only available in certain regions, including Europe, South Korea and Japan. The 128GB model of the headset sells for £379 in the UK and the apps included in this Black Friday bundle total approximately £77 free content (£24.99 for Ruinsmagus, £29.99 for After the Fall and £21.99 for Les Mills).

Pico 4 was launched just over a month ago. Here is an excerpt from our headset test:

The Pico 4 offers sharper, wider and taller lenses in a thinner and lighter design that makes the Quest 2 look outdated by comparison. But the content ecosystem is far less developed, the software isn’t as polished, and the processor may struggle to keep up with higher resolution.

The decision to buy Pico 4 or Quest 2 comes down to one extremely difficult question: do you want the superior hardware of ByteDance or the superior library of technology and software content of Meta?

Earlier this month, a Chinese media report claimed that Pico 4 sales were not meeting expected targets, despite Pico previously warning European customers of potential delivery delays due to unprecedented global demand.
