This month may have brought us a solid PlayStation Plus lineup, but it has come with a whole host of blunders. In case you missed it, 23 titles will soon be added in Extra and Premium tiers, including Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition, Assassin’s Creed Odysseyand Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition.
These titles join the previously announced October Essential lineup, which includes Hot Wheels Unleashed, Injustice 2and Very hot. These games are available now while the Extra and Premium games will go live on October 18. It has already been leaked that some of these titles will be unplayable for PlayStation 5 users and it has now emerged that Sony’s reveal includes a few errors as well.
Are you ready for the next PlayStation exclusive God of War Ragnarök? Take a look at the latest trailer below.
It was announced yesterday that Limbo and Ultimate Street Fight IV would come to the Premium classics library via PlayStation 3 backwards compatibility. It is true that PS3 games are available on the Premium catalog via cloud streaming. The thing is, Limbo and Ultra Street Fighter IV have perfectly good PlayStation 4 versions, so naturally fans wondered why subscribers wouldn’t get those editions.
Turns out they are. As reported by Push Square, PlayStation has quietly updated the October games reveal blog post and Limbo and Ultra Street Fighter IV are now listed as PS4 titles, which makes a lot more sense.
